Home Cancellation policy
If plans
change.
Life happens, and we’d rather you told us than didn’t. Here’s what we ask, and what to expect.
Giving notice
When a booking is cancelled at short notice, that chair usually stays empty — there isn’t time to offer it to anyone else, and the specialist holding it loses the work. Notice is the whole policy, really.
We ask for at least [ notice window ] before your appointment time. Inside that window a fee may apply: [ late-cancellation fee ].
- Longer services (colour, correction, bridal) hold more of the day, so [ extended notice window ] applies to those.
- Cancel once and it’s nothing. We only start applying fees when it becomes a pattern: [ repeat-cancellation terms ].
- Genuine emergencies are genuine emergencies. Tell us what happened and we’ll sort it out.
Running late
Call ahead if you can — a few minutes is almost never a problem, and knowing lets us rearrange rather than guess.
Past [ grace period ] we may need to shorten the service to protect the guest booked after you, or rebook you altogether. If the service has to be shortened, it is still charged in full.
Missed appointments
An appointment nobody arrives for and nobody called about is recorded as a no-show. Our terms: [ no-show fee ].
- After [ number ] no-shows we may ask for a deposit before booking you again.
- Any fee is settled before your next appointment: [ how fees are collected ].
Deposits
Most appointments need no deposit at all. We ask for one on longer or higher-value bookings, and it comes straight off the final bill.
- When a deposit is required: [ which services ].
- How much: [ deposit amount or percentage ].
- Refundable with proper notice; inside the cancellation window: [ deposit forfeiture terms ].
Bridal & parties
Wedding bookings block out a large part of a morning and often several specialists at once, so they run on their own terms. See the bridal page for how the day itself is planned.
- Booking deposit: [ bridal deposit terms ].
- Notice for cancelling or reducing the party: [ bridal notice window ].
- Moving the date: [ date-change terms ].
If we have to move you
Occasionally it’s us — illness, a family emergency, something broken. If that happens we’ll call you as early as we possibly can, offer the first suitable slot we have, and make it right: [ what we offer when we cancel ].
How to reach us
Call the salon: it’s the fastest way and the only one we can guarantee reaches someone in time. Messages left outside opening hours are picked up the next working morning, so an overnight voicemail before an early appointment may not reach us before your slot.
Everything in [square brackets] is a slot, not a term — the salon’s real notice windows, fees, and deposit rules go in before this page goes live.
