One shirt, made properly

FatigueShirts makes one shirt for now — a heavyweight standard tee, cut for men and for women, in black and in white. An oversized tee and a long sleeve are coming. The shirt carries a single word across the chest and nothing else: no logo lockup, no slogan underneath, no woven label shouting from the sleeve. Which means everything you can’t see from across a room has to hold up on its own. So here it is, up close.

Close-up of the ribbed collar and the taped shoulder seam — **The collar**Ribbed knit, taped across the neck and shoulder so the tape carries the strain instead of the collar. It is why the neck still sits flat after a year rather than rippling.

It lifts the dye out of the fibre and lays pigment in its place — look closely and the weave runs straight through the letter. Nothing sits on top to crack or peel.

The weightA heavy shirt on purpose. It hangs from the shoulder instead of clinging to it, and holds a straight line down the body from the first wear rather than the tenth wash.

The women’s shirt is cut on its own block — narrower shoulder, shaped through the waist, scooped neck, finishing just above the hip. It is not the men’s shirt made smaller, which is the usual shortcut and always reads as one.

This is not a joke shirt and it is not a comment on anything. It is a word we liked the shape of, set large, in a face with some weight behind it. Read it how you like, or don’t read it at all and buy it because it is a good shirt.
