Who we are

A small-town club with a big-hearted mission.

The Wales-Genesee Lions Club is a chapter of Lions Clubs International — the world's largest service organization. Chartered in 1952, our members are everyday neighbors who give their time so that families across our community can see better, eat better, and thrive.

From eye screenings to scholarships, food drives to our beloved pancake breakfasts, every dollar we raise stays close to home. We meet in the historic Genesee Depot town hall, built in 1912 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

  • Part of Wisconsin Lions District 27-A1
  • Funds raised locally stay local
  • Open to new members year-round

What we do

Service that meets real needs

Lions tackle the causes that matter most to our neighbors. Here's where our volunteers focus their time and the funds we raise together.

Vision & Hearing

Free vision screenings, eyeglass collection, and support for the Lions Eye Bank of Wisconsin so no one goes without sight or sound.

Hunger Relief

Pancake breakfasts, food drives, and support for local pantries keep our neighbors fed throughout the year.

Youth & Scholarships

Scholarships, school support, and youth programs that invest in the next generation of our community.

Health & Diabetes

Screenings and awareness efforts — including diabetes, a global Lions cause — to help neighbors live well.

Environment

Community clean-ups, tree planting, and stewardship of the Kettle Moraine landscape we all share.

Community Support

Disaster relief, family assistance, and a helping hand for neighbors facing hard times.
