Compliance
April should be a formality.
Tax preparation and filings, audit support, 1099 preparation, sales tax across Maryland, Delaware and Virginia, and grant and regulatory reporting. Because the same firm keeps your books all year, nothing has to be reconstructed at filing time.
Included
What tax and compliance covers.

Why it matters
The cost of finding out late.
Penalties and interest compound. A missed estimated payment, an unfiled 1099, an unregistered sales tax nexus — none of these are expensive to prevent and all of them are expensive to fix. Tracking your position through the year costs less than any one of them.
Questions
About tax and compliance.
Do you file my tax return?
Yes. Tax preparation and filings are part of what Everly does, alongside audit support, 1099 preparation and sales tax across Maryland, Delaware and Virginia.
The advantage of one firm doing both: because we keep your books current all year, nothing has to be reconstructed at filing time, and your quarterly position is tracked as you go rather than discovered in April.
Will I know what I owe before it's due?
Yes. We track your position quarterly and flag estimated payments ahead of each deadline. April becomes a formality instead of a surprise.
Do you handle sales tax in more than one state?
We handle Maryland, Delaware and Virginia. If you have nexus in other states, tell us during the consultation and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit for it.
What about 1099s?
We track vendor payments through the year, collect W-9s, and prepare and file 1099s at year end. It's included from the Starter plan up.
Bring us your worst month.
Thirty minutes, no cost, no pitch deck. We'll tell you what we'd fix first and roughly what it would cost — even if the answer is that you don't need us yet.
